How it works
Fixbooks does a few things no other booking app does.
Here’s what they are, in plain English.
Fix, your right hand
Fix, your receptionist out front and your hands-on assistant in the van.
Fix answers your customers' messages for you. It finds a free time, books them in and takes the deposit. It can move a booking too. If it's not sure, it asks you.
And for you: Fix fills in your services when you start, tells you how your day looks when you ask, shows you who's due back and suggests a promotion when things go quiet.
For example
Linda messages at 10:48pm about a boiler service. Fix books her in with Gaz on Thursday at 9:00 while you're on the sofa.
No more answering messages at midnight.
Messages · 10:48pm
hi, can someone service my boiler? it's due
Hi Linda! Gaz is free Thursday at 9:00. A £20 deposit holds it. Here's the link.

Your hands-on assistant · 8:00am
Morning, how's today looking?
4 jobs today, Linda's boiler service at 9:00. Three customers are due a service. Want me to suggest an offer?
Go on then
Just for you, the owner.
Deposits that hold the slot
You choose the deposit. The customer pays it when they book. No deposit, no slot.
For example
Linda pays £20 to book Thursday at 9:00. If nobody's in when Gaz knocks, the £20 is yours to keep, if you choose.
Fewer wasted trips. And when one happens, you're not out of pocket.

Circles: get paid for recommending
Customer Circles: your regulars share their own link with neighbours and family. You choose the thank-you, £ off or % off their next job. Every time a regular brings someone new, Fixbooks adds it on its own.
Business Circles: you and the trades you already recommend send each other customers. When you send a customer to a business in your Circle, their thank-you goes into your account. Money in the bank for a recommendation you were making anyway.
You agree the thank-you between you, a set amount or a percent, and you can counter-offer. Fixbooks keeps count.
For example
Linda sends her link to Pam next door, who books a radiator job. Linda gets £5 off her next job. Then Linda needs new sockets, so you send her to Sockets & Sardines, and their thank-you lands in your account.
New customers from people who already trust you, and money for the ones you send on.

Job records: every property remembered
Every customer's property has its own record: the property, access notes, previous jobs and photos. It's there every time they book.
For example
Before Gaz knocks, he can see the key's in the key safe, the dog stays in the garden and what he did to the boiler last year. No digging through old messages.
Quicker jobs, and every customer feels you know their home.

Gift vouchers: an easy present
Sell gift vouchers, say a gutter clear or a deep clean as a present. When someone books with one, it comes off what they owe.
For example
Linda's son gave her a voucher for her birthday. She mentions it when she books, and Fix sorts it.
An easy present for your regulars to buy, and new doors to knock on.

Good questions
What can Fix do on its own?
Answer messages, book customers in, take the deposit and move bookings. On Team, it sorts gift vouchers too. For you, it also fills in your services for you to check, tells you how your day looks, shows who's due back and suggests promotions. Anything it's not sure about, it passes to you.
Is Fix on every plan?
Yes. Each plan comes with a set number of chats a month. We'll show how many when we set the prices.
What happens if nobody's in?
You can keep the deposit, or give it back. It's your choice. You also choose how much notice customers need to give to get it back if they cancel.
Are gift vouchers on every plan?
No, they're on Team. Everything else on this page comes with both plans.
What it costs is on the pricing page.
Want Fix on your phone?
Every plan starts with 30 days free. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you first when we open.
